Hannah Renee Lazorchak

Hannah Renee Lazorchak, age 31, of Stiritz, IL passed away at 1:40 p.m. on Friday at home. She was born in West Frankfort, IL on Tuesday, December 13, 1983, the daughter of John and Sherry Renee (Alsip) Lazorchak. Hannah attended school in Johnston City, IL and was elected to serve on the high school student council and was a graduate of Johnston City High School Class of 2002. She went on with her education and attended at John A Logan College taking courses in education, nursing and paralegal studies and in the past did her internship with a law firm in Carbondale, IL. Hannah helped care for her “PaPa Shorty” in his last months and always talked about that special moment of them dancing in the rain. She enjoyed dance and twirling and had attended Heartland Twirling and Dance Class. The majority of her lifetime she attended at Spillertown Baptist Church where her “PaPa Shorty” was the minister and recently she had been attending at Cornerstone Baptist Church located north of Johnston City. Hannah enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She loved life to its fullest and was always a “Bubbly Happy Go Lucky Person”. The memories that were created will now be cherished by all those she loved and leaves behind. She is survived by her parents, John and Sherry Lazorchak of rural West Frankfort, IL; brother, Joshua “Booters” Lazorchak of West Frankfort, IL; aunts and uncles, Nancy Jordan and her husband Ed and Madaline Lazorchak all of Stiritz, IL, Keith Alsip and his wife Becky of Marion, IL, Ricky Alsip and his companion Theresa Avants of West Frankfort, IL, Randy Lazorchak and his wife Brenda and Steve Lazorchak all of Stiritz, IL; great aunt, Linda Robertson and her husband Jim and their family of Creal Springs, IL, a host of great aunts and great uncles and other extended family in Tennessee; cousins, Jason Adams and his daughter Kalli, Jessica Lenon and her husband Darren and their children Gracelyn and Carson and other cousins, Quentin Lazorchak and Matthew and Abigail Alsip; family friend, James Bishop of Stiritz, IL, her special cats and companions, Isabella, Buttons and Oreo, other extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rev. Edward L. “Shorty” and Charlene Alsip; paternal grandparents, Steve and Mary Joan Lazorchak; uncle, Jerry Lazorchak and special Nana Micheff. Arrangements for Hannah Renee Lazorchak were entrusted to Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 N. Court St., Marion, IL. The visitation was from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21st, at the funeral home. During the time of visitation a “Reflection of Life” DVD Memorial Tribute featuring special people, places and events of Hannah’s life was presented to the family and friends. The funeral service was at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, with Rev. Kevin McNeely presiding and Rev. Bob Nolen presenting prayer. The prelude recorded vocal musical selections presented were “I’ll Be Missing You” by Puff Daddy and “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa. Special recorded vocal musical selections presented during the service were “Through It All” by Colton Dixon, “Footsteps” by Daniel O’Donnell and “In the Garden” by Alan Jackson. The service concluded with the recorded vocal musical selection “Dancing In the Sky” by Dani and Lizzy. Interment followed in McKinney Chapel Cemetery near the Lake of Egypt. Pallbearers were Matthew Alsip, Joshua Lazorchak, Quentin Lazorchak, Jason Adams, Darren Lenon, Jeremy Duke, Stacey Montgomery and Eddie Reiman. Following the committal service at the cemetery the family and friends gathered at Hannah’s parents home for a meal and continued time of fellowship and support. Since Hannah loved animals the family requested those who preferred to make memorial contributions to “PAWS” Pets are Worth Saving Organization of Anna, IL.
