Louise Jeanette Linck , age 89, of Marion, IL, passed away peacefully at 10:40 p.m. on Thursday December 5th, 2019 at her home. She was born, Sunday, December 29, 1928, to Emil P. and Naomi V. (Hill) Brase in Anna, IL. Jeanette grew up in Peoria, IL and was a graduate of Peoria High School class of 1947. Jeanette was united in marriage to Leroy Linck on Saturday, September 5, 1947 and together they shared over fifty-five years before his death, May 3, 2002. She was a member of Spillertown Baptist Church where she was actively involved for many years where she taught in Bible School, taught the Christian Home Makers Class, assisted when there was help needed in the kitchen, and helped with the youth group as long as her health allowed. Her first love was her family and she enjoyed being a Christian homemaker and enjoyed her family to the fullest. Her family helped her through her tough time and she loved them with all her heart. Jeanette was a retired L.P.N., and received her training at V.T.I. and worked for many years at Marion Memorial Hospital and later worked for Dr. R. D. Morgan until her retirement. She served as Village Clerk of Spillertown for about five years and was active in the Democrat Party and served as Precinct Committeewoman in 2002 and for a while was secretary of the Williamson County Democrat Party. For many years she was an active member of the Hospital Auxiliary, a member of the Sunshine Circle, Happy Hearts and the Red Hats Club. A very important part of her life was the Marion Senior Citizens where she loved the fellowship of the members and the employees. Jeanette always enjoyed the company of her family and many friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Patrick Jo Linck of Marion, IL; two grandchildren, Brandy Dawn Carnaghi and husband, Paul and Jason Patrick Linck all of Marion, IL; three great grandchildren, Damon Patrick Linck of San Diego, CA and Chase Scott Linck of Marion and Bailey Nicole Key and husband, James of Johnston City, IL; great granddaughter, Jaiden Key of Johnston City, IL; sister, Pat Ingram and husband, Larry of Indiana; several nieces and nephews, other extended family and many friends. She was preceded by her parents; husband, Leroy Linck; son, Michael Dan Linck; two sisters, , Ruth Lenart and Anita Brase; grandson, Scott Linck; two brothers, Lawrence and Bill Brase; Arrangements for Louise Jeanette Linck have been entrusted to the Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 N. Court Street, of Marion, IL. A time of visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at the funeral home. Following the time of visitation the funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Shea presiding. For those who prefer, memorial contributions may be made to “Hospice of Southern Illinois”, “Spillertown Baptist Church” and “Marion Senior Citizens Center” and mailed in care of Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 N. Court Street, Marion, IL 62959. Memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Interment will follow at a later date next to her husband in Maplewood Cemetery of Marion, IL.
